Escape from Sobibor

Category:Moviewar Area:America Years:1987 Director:Jack Gold Starring:Alan Arkin Joanna Pakula Rutger Hauer Hartmut Becker Jack Sheffield

Description:In 1944, near the end of World War II, the Nazi army established three concentration camps for death row prisoners in eastern Poland, one of which was called Sobibor. A mass escape occurred in another concentration camp, so the officials guarding the Sobibor concentration camp vowed never to let such a thing happen in the Sobibor concentration camp. In this concentration camp full of torture, escape is the only way out. What's more serious is that if a group of prisoners escape, the Germans will massacre a corresponding number of prisoners. Any large-scale escape will mean the lives of the guards and German government officials in charge. However, a death row prisoner led 600 people to escape collectively in this extremely tightly guarded concentration camp, and 300 of them succeeded, which became a miracle in history.
