After returning home from outside, the cartoonist Cang Yuan (voiced by Tobita Chen'ao) found an ugly dog with a black circle on his left eye (voiced by Sonobe Keiichi) sleeping in his room through the window. He kept the dog for one night and sent it out when he went to the publishing house to submit his manuscript tomorrow. But when he came back, the dog was waiting for him outside the Shinkansen, so Cang Yuan had to take it home. The happy and greedy dog couldn't stand the loneliness and ran out to play all day. One day, it ran to the class of elementary school student Sayaka (voiced by Honda Chieko). The whole class decided to adopt the dog collectively and named it Awu. Sayaka's father, Inugami Boss (voiced by Saimori Shin), often buys famous dogs. Although he looks down on Awu, Awu is able to make the noble dogs raised by Inugami pale in comparison. In this way, the naughty dog often shuttles between Cang Yuan and Inugami's house. What troubles will it cause in the future?
