Mr. Oldman (Geoffrey Rush) is an eccentric auctioneer at a top art auction house. He has almost never failed in his decades of career. His biggest hobby is collecting portraits of women from various periods. Billy (Donald Sutherland) helps him to buy his favorite paintings at a low price, while the young man Robert (Jim Sturgess) helps him to identify the authenticity of antiques with technical means. Until one day, a mysterious female customer Claire (Sylvia Hoeks) came into his life with a large number of antique heritage. Claire claimed to suffer from agoraphobia and never showed up, but this special way of communication gradually fascinated Oldman, and he even asked Robert for help in pursuing women. Finally one day Oldman gave up his original life, but a shocking conspiracy was quietly waiting for him.
