A typical Gothic family lives in Adams Manor. Gomez (Raul Julia) and his wife (Anjelica Huston) live here all year round, and the atmosphere is gloomy and corrupt. The two have a sweet relationship and have a pair of children who like to play murder games. Gomez's heart, however, has a scar. That is, he once fell out with his brother Fester. Fester has been missing for 25 years, and Gomez still can't let go of his brother's thoughts. The mother who is determined to seize Adams Manor and the wealth here has a son Gordon (Christopher Lloyd), whose appearance is the same as Fester. So, a conspiracy was staged. She instigated Gordon to pretend to be Fester to sneak into Adams Manor and use Gomez's brotherhood to seize the manor step by step. Sure enough, Gordon's arrival not only surprised Gomez, but he gradually integrated into the family life here, and the Gomez family also fell into a dangerous quagmire.
