75-year-old Momoko lives alone in the suburbs of Tokyo. Since she fled to Tokyo at the age of 20 to avoid an arranged marriage, Momoko has formed a family of her own will and lived happily for 55 years. After her husband's sudden death, her plan to spend her twilight years peacefully was thwarted. Momoko, who became a single elderly person, unexpectedly gained three spiritual companions, and regained her former vitality, re-examining her past life with intertwined memories and reality. The new work of the famous Japanese director Shuichi Okita is adapted from the autobiographical novel of the same name by the 63-year-old Japanese female writer Chisako Wakatake. Veteran actress Yuko Tanaka plays the protagonist Momoko, and Yu Aoi plays Momoko from 20 to 34 years old.
