Jack Sally (Sam Worthington), a former navy soldier who was paralyzed from the waist down after being wounded in battle, decided to come to Pandora for his dead brother to manipulate Dr. Grace (Sigourney Weaver) to create an "Avatar" hybrid creature by combining human genes with the genes of the local Namei tribe.
