In the 1940s in the United States, "Godfather" Vito Corleone (played by Marlon Brando) was the leader of the Corleone family of the Mafia, leading the family to engage in illegal activities, but at the same time he was also the patron saint of many weak civilians and was deeply loved by people. Because of the rejection of the drug lord Sollozzo's drug deal request, the conflict between the Corleone family and several other mafia families in New York intensified. On Christmas Eve, Sollozzo kidnapped Tom, the "Godfather's" staff officer, and sent someone to assassinate the "Godfather"; because of the betrayal of the traitor, the "Godfather's" eldest son Sonny was killed by his enemies; the youngest son Mike (played by Al Pacino) was also involved and lost his beloved wife. The conflict between the mafia families became more and more intense. How can the old "Godfather" lead the overall situation in the face of the pain of losing his son? How will the feud between the mafia end? Who is the traitor in the family? Who can become the new generation of "Godfather"? Blood, gore, and tenderness are truly played out in this landmark gangster epic.
