Miles, a cyclist with no luck, stumbles upon an advanced, robotic, military dog, AXL, whose heart is a real dog's, and the rest of his body is equipped with the next generation of artificial intelligence. Miles and AXL gradually develop feelings for each other in their daily interactions, but a rogue military scientist is determined to capture AXL at all costs. Miles teams up with his dream girl, the resourceful Sarah, and embarks on an epic adventure to protect his new friend.
