Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is an Earthling who was abducted into outer space when he was young. Under the training of his adoptive father Yondu (Michael Rooker), he became an ultimate gangster, calling himself "Star-Lord". During an operation, he stole a mysterious sphere and became the kidnapping target of bounty hunters Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), and the mysterious Gamora (Zoe Saldana) was also determined to get the mysterious sphere. After a lot of hilarious and rough encounters, Star-Lord was forced to form a team with these three people and the revengeful "Destroyer" Drax (Dave Batista) to escape the pursuit of "Accuser" Ronan (Lee Pace). However, this mysterious sphere possesses infinite power, and the team must unite to deal with Ronan in order to save the entire galaxy. Thus, the Guardians of the Galaxy were born.
