Kurosawa Shoko (voiced by Noto Mamiko), a high school girl with long black hair and fair skin, is probably too introverted and not good at socializing. Although she is so kind and helpful, she is still considered too gloomy by her classmates, and they deliberately distance themselves from her and even call her Sadako. Even so, Shoko is unwilling to argue or defend herself, and silently endures it all. However, there is only one person who takes the initiative to approach her, and that is Shoko's classmate, the handsome and popular Kazehaya Shota (voiced by Namikawa Daisuke). Due to Shota's efforts, classmates gradually accept Shoko, and Shoko also experiences the happiness that her peers should have. As time goes by, some indescribable emotions grow in the hearts of Shoko and Shota, and orange youth is so unforgettable. This film is adapted from the original manga by Shiina Haruho.
