Jake is deeply insecure about his junior year, and things get worse when Charlie and Alan tell him stories about their own nightmare junior year experiences. The stories have such a negative impact on Jake that he runs off the school bus on the first day of school and hides out in his home. Eventually, Charlie and Alan realize that the stories they told Jake were their own fears, and they passed them on to Jake. The two decide to teach Jake how to deal with his fears, but things don't go as they planned.
