In a villa facing the sea, there live two brothers, Charlie (Charlie Sheen) and Alan (Jon Cryer). One is a playboy composer, who is always surrounded by beautiful women; the other is a masseur who was kicked out by his wife after the divorce and can only live in his brother's house. There is also a little "good man" in the lives of these two bachelors - Alan's son Jake (Angus T. Jones). Every weekend, Alan will take Jake from his ex-wife's house to this bachelor villa.
