Introduction

Conan, Huihara, and the members of the Junior Detective Team, Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, and Genta, followed the professor to finish camping that day and took a detour to visit the first twin-tower skyscraper in Japan, which was newly built in front of Mount Fuji in Nishitama City. Maori Kogoro was invited by his junior sister Mio Tokiwa, the owner of the twin towers, to attend the opening ceremony with Xiaolan and Sonoko. With Mio's introduction, they met the painter Kisaragi Minemi, who was famous for painting Mount Fuji, the city councilor Ohki Iwamatsu, the designer of the twin towers, Hidehiko Kazama (a disciple of Teiji Moriya, in the first episode "Detonation", Moriya challenged Shinichi), and the genius programmer Hara. During this period, Huihara's behavior was abnormal. Ohki moved into Tower B early and was killed. Inspector Megure began to investigate and found that he seemed to have an unusual relationship with Mio. Soon Hara was also killed at home. Because there were fragments of small wine glasses similar to the mortars used by Japanese painters when painting at the scene, the two cases seemed to be committed by the same person. Conan associates the small wine glass with the dark organization nicknamed after the wine that Huibara once served, and notices that there is no blood on the fragments in the second case. At the same time, he finds out the reason for Huibara's unusual behavior, but finds that she is being tracked. And Sonoko's joking hairstyle makes her look very much like Shirley (Huibara). At the opening reception, Mio was killed when she showed the guests Kisaragi's most precious painting of Mount Fuji. Her death was just like a miniature of the twin towers lying in the middle of Mount Fuji. There was also a small wine glass under her body, but it was intact. A pearl on the ground that was supposed to be on Mio's neck made Conan turn his attention to Kisaragi. Immediately afterwards, the floor where Mio's company computer files were located in Building A and the underground distribution room exploded. At the moment of escape, Conan noticed that a gun was aimed at Sonoko, and he gave the answers to all his questions in his mind, but the most urgent problem he and Xiaolan and others needed to solve was how to escape from the sea of fire.
