The story takes place at Sakuragaoka High School, and revolves around the five-member light music club. In this band called "After School Tea Party", the guitarist and lead singer is the innocent girl Hirasawa Yui (voiced by Toyosaki Aki), the bassist is the steady but shy Akiyama Mio (voiced by Hikasa Yoko), the drummer is the very energetic Tiananaka Ritsu (voiced by Sato Satomi), the gentle and enthusiastic keyboardist is Kotobuki Tsumugi (voiced by Kotobuki Minako), and the guitarist is the junior schoolmate Nakano Azusa (voiced by Taketatsu Ayana). At the beginning of the new school year, except for Azusa, everyone is promoted to the third grade and is assigned to the same class. However, if no new members are recruited, the four members will graduate and leave school next year, and the light music club will face the fate of being abolished. In the new semester, all the major clubs in Sakuragaoka High School have begun to recruit new members in full swing, and the light music club has also tried every means.
