The story follows the last season. The shortage of money and the invasion of cancer are no longer the difficult problems that Walter (Bryan Cranston) will face. The imminent breakdown of his family is the real reason for Walter's heartache. Due to his wife Skyler (Anna Gunn)'s firm determination to divorce, Walter moved out of his home and moved into a new residence, which also created favorable conditions for his cooperation with the drug lord Gus (Giancarlo Esposito). In order to avenge the death of Tuco (Raymond Cruz), the two cold-faced killers found Hank (Dean Norris), and after a fierce confrontation, Hank was seriously injured. Facing everything that's spiraling out of control, walter feels an unprecedented crisis, especially his new partner Gail (David Costabile), who understands that once Gail has mastered his original drug-making technology, he will be quickly killed by gus.
