Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his teammates received a mission to recover three massive nuclear weapons. The mission was about to be completed, but in order to save the life of one of his teammates, Luther (Ving Rhames), the three nuclear weapons were taken away. CIA director Ms. Sloan (Angela Bassett) transferred her proud general Walker (Henry Cavill) and asked him to keep an eye on Ethan Hunt to complete the mission of recovering the nuclear weapons. During this period, female agent Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson) suddenly appeared, and Ethan Hunt found that he had to face not only terrorists, but also ghosts hidden in government departments.
