After being laid off by her company, the naturally competitive Mak Yat-man (played by Yoyo Mung) accidentally discovered that the job of "serving brides at weddings" was simple and had a good income, so she set her heart on learning from the golden bridal stylist Chong Sze-tin (played by Sze-kei Lee). However, the persistent Sze-tin saw through Yat-man's motives and of course rejected her.
