Until the 1970s, Swiss politicians and religious leaders believed that women did not have the right to vote or other rights due to "God's will". Nora is a young housewife who lives with her husband and two sons in a quiet village, leading a peaceful life. In such a Swiss village, even the huge political movement in May 1968 did not stir up any waves among local residents.
