Nineteen years ago, the Qionghua School used the Wangshu and Xihe swords to trap the demon world and seize spiritual power from it, triggering a war between humans and demons, with heavy casualties on both sides. Yun Tianqing and Su Yu, disciples of the Qionghua School, had differences in the Qionghua School's cultivation philosophy, so they left Qionghua and came to Qingluan Peak to give birth to a son, Yun Tianhe. Not long after, Su Yu died. The young Yun Tianhe was not aware of his parents' past, and his father Yun Tianqing also died of illness, leaving him alone to grow up on the mountain. Yun Tianhe (played by Chen Zheyuan) met Han Lingsha (played by Ju Jingyi), a girl who broke into his parents' tomb, and went down the mountain together to find his parents' past. Halfway, he met another girl Liu Mengli (played by Mao Xiaohui). In order to understand his father's past, Yun Tianhe, Han Lingsha and Liu Mengli became disciples of the Kunxu Qionghua School. The Qionghua School asked Murong Ziying (played by Mao Zijun), who was of similar age, to teach them, and the four became partners. As his life story is gradually revealed, the four people who originally sympathized with each other fall into deep pain and confusion. In the end, Yun Tianhe joins hands with his best friends and embarks on the road of saving the world by changing his destiny.
