In 1943, during the Vichy government in France, a group of Jewish children had to escape to Switzerland after living in a children's shelter for several years to avoid arrest by the German Nazis. In order to avoid arrest, they had to separate from the adults they trusted. This group of Jewish children embarked on a journey of escape on their own. This film is adapted from the true story "Fanny's Memoirs", which truly depicts the situation of Jewish children during World War II.
