Description:Adapted from Jin Yong's novel of the same name. During the Northern Song Dynasty, the Song, Liao, and Western Xia were in opposition. The leader of the Beggar Gang, Qiao Feng (played by Hu Jun), was killed by Kang Min, the wife of the deputy leader of the Beggar Gang, Ma Dayuan. He was despised by the martial arts world. Qiao Feng began his investigation to find out the truth and vindicate himself, but it caused greater entanglements. During the investigation, he met Duan Yu (played by Lin Zhiying), the suave son of the Dali Duan family, and Xu Zhu (played by Gao Hu), a young monk from Shaolin who seemed dull but kind-hearted. The three of them became brothers because of their similarities. Qiao Feng met the two sisters Azhu (played by Liu Tao) and A Zi (played by Chen Hao); Duan Yu was infatuated with Wang Yuyan (played by Liu Yifei), and met many confidantes; Xu Zhu encountered the mysterious Menggu (played by Wang Haizhen). Faced with troubled times, the three began an extraordinary career in the rivers and lakes, and met such people as Tianshan Tonglao (played by Shu Chang), Murong Fu (played by Xu Zhu), and others.

Introduction

Life and death, love and hate, separation, and national justice were played out in the course of fate.
