In the near future, a mysterious virus called ZN1 spreads around the world, turning thousands of people into bloodthirsty zombies, and those bitten by them are quickly infected and become zombies. The U.S. government is completely paralyzed, and humanity is facing the doom of extinction. At a temporary gathering point in Upper New York, Charles Garnett (Tom Everett Scott), head of the National Guard, and his partner Roberta Warren (Kellita Smith) welcomed unexpected visitors. The visitor is named Mark Hammond (Harold Perrineau), who claims to be a lieutenant of the Delta Force. He asks Garnett and others to help escort a man named Murphy (Keith Allan) to California. Murphy was attacked by eight zombies, but he survived unharmed because he was injected with ZN1 virus antibodies. As the last hope of mankind, the interim government demands that Murphy's life be saved at all costs. Hammond was attacked and killed during the journey, and Garnett took on the responsibility of escorting and embarked on an ill-fated journey with the survivors around him...
