The decadent and corrupt middle-aged man Fujishima Showa (played by Yakusho Koji) also had a happy family. As a criminal policeman, he was forced to retire early because he beat up the lover of his ex-wife Kiriko (played by Kurosawa Asuka). At the lowest point where he could not see the future, he received a call from Kiriko. It turned out that Fujishima's daughter Kanako (played by Komatsu Nana) had been missing for many days.
