High school student Shuji Kiritani (Kazuya Kamenashi) is a popular person in school. He is very good at dealing with people and is loved by teachers and classmates. He also has a girlfriend, Mariko (Erika Toda), who is admired by everyone. But in fact, he has always treated all this as a boring game. He is like wearing a mask and his words and actions are not sincere at all. What makes Shuji most headache is the weirdo in the same class, Akira Kusano (Tomohisa Yamashita), who speaks and acts in an unpredictable way and always pesters Shuji.
