The serialized novel "Blunt Beast" in Weekly Daiya was well received and won a literary award. However, just before the award ceremony, the editorial department learned that the author of the novel, Touji Tsuchikawa, had been missing for a long time. The editor-in-chief Shizuka (played by Yoko Maki) was ordered to investigate Tsuchikawa's whereabouts. Based on the clues in the writer's apartment, she came all the way to Tsuchikawa's hometown, Tokiba, the "sumo city".
