The film is set in the Edo period. Junichi Okada plays the protagonist, one of the famous "Four Heavenly Kings" of the dojo. He was expelled from the domain because he reported the improper behavior of his superiors. He returned to his hometown to fulfill his deceased wife's last wish. The film depicts the improper behavior of samurai and the domain and the confrontation between powerful people. Junichi Okada started training for the battle three months in advance to play this role. In the film, Hidetoshi Nishijima will play the protagonist's rival who was both an enemy and a friend during the dojo period.
