At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, the situation was devastating. In order to overthrow the Qing Dynasty, Sun Yat-sen and other revolutionaries were raising funds everywhere. However, they fell into the hands of the traitor Yuan Siye (played by Anthony Wong), who secretly imprisoned Sun Yat-sen. The revolutionary Ah Hua (played by Chen Baixiang) escaped from death and sent a letter to five Jianghu strange men for help. So Zhong Guoren (played by Zhong Zhentao), Du Hailun (played by Alan Tam), Shen Siguan (played by Chen You), Peng Jiankang, and Fei Qiang, five Jianghu strange men, gathered together to plan to rescue the revolutionary patriots. The five people who did things upside down misunderstood Ah Hua's letter and believed that a master named "Iron Fist Invincible Sun Yat-sen" would be the biggest obstacle for them to complete their mission. Zhong Guoren sneaked into Yuan Siye's house and gained his recognition by posing as a traitor. Then, as a masked revolutionary, he met and fell in love with Yuan's sister Alin (played by Chen Farong). Alin was different from her brother and sympathized with the revolutionary cause. In order to complete the revolutionary task, Zhong Guoren had to reluctantly let Du Hailun pretend to be himself to contact Alin... This film was shot to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Wynners.
