Season 2 of Mason Mysteries is being written and produced by Knick creators Jack Amiel and Michael Begler. Set months after the Dodson trial, Perry (Matthew Rhys) has moved off the farm, ditched the milk truck, and even traded in his leather jacket for a sharp suit. It’s the worst year of the Great Depression, and Perry and Della (Juliet Rylance) have put the firm on a safer path, focusing on civil cases rather than the messy work that comes with criminal cases. Unfortunately, Paul (Chris Chalk) doesn’t have much work with wills and contracts, so he goes out on his own. An easy case occurs in the city of Los Angeles, and Perry’s pursuit of justice shows that not everything is as clear-cut as it seems.
