The movie "I Have Been Here" tells the story of Yu Ming, a literary and melancholy wandering painter, who came to the Miao Village in Guizhou and lived in the inn of Ji Hong, a warm and cheerful single mother. Every day, Yu Ming quietly began to paint, depicting the various aspects of life here: Xia Hua, a local girl in the Miao Village; Ze Yu, a young rocker; Wen Daye, a kind and gentle chef; Huan Er, a cute and funny little girl; a couple from Shanghai, a documentary team, etc., all of which were frozen in Yu Ming's pen.
