The story takes place in 1805, when Count Pierre (Paul Dano) and Miss Helen (Tuppence Middleton) married, but the two were not in love, so their married life was not very happy. Andre (James Norton) was a friend of Pierre. By chance, he met a beautiful noble lady named Natasha (Lily James). The two fell in love at first sight and soon came together. After that, Andre returned to serve in the army. Helen's brother Anatoly (Callum Turner) coveted Natasha's beauty, took advantage of the opportunity, deceived Natasha's pure heart with lies, and under Anatoly's seduction and instigation, Natasha decided to elope with him.
