The film is adapted from the popular picture book series of the same name, with Shawn Mendes singing the crocodile Layla. The story tells the story of a little boy, Josh Primm, who moves to a new home in the big city with his parents and family, and becomes good friends with a crocodile who lives in the attic and can dance and sing. The crocodile Layla, who has a cheerful nature, heals Josh, who has difficulty adapting to the new environment, and Josh also tries to eliminate his parents' prejudice against Layla. The two little ones embark on an unprecedented urban adventure, and after many joyous farces, Layla and the Primm family eventually become each other's family and partners.
