Ryan (Matt Damon) is an American paratrooper during World War II, trapped behind enemy lines. Even more unfortunately, all three of his brothers died in the war. If he were killed, his old mother would be left alone. The U.S. Combat Command learned of this and decided to organize a small team to rescue, including Captain Miller (Tom Hanks) and translator Urban (Jererry Davies). However, the enemy was in great danger, and they were dealing with death at any time along the way. They were very skeptical whether it was worth risking the lives of eight people to rescue one person. Everyone went all the way to find Ryan. Some were dissatisfied, some were enthusiastic, and some were curious about this rescue operation. Everyone smelled the breath of death again and again, and Ryan's rescue came at a heavy price.
