Veterinarian Jin Huiting (played by Lin Xiawei) believes in science and follows the rules. She is incompatible with the clinic staff and is even more of an enemy with her neighbor Wang Shengren (played by Zhou Jialuo). Ren is an animal mind reader who relies on trying to figure out the owner's psychology to treat pets. In Ting's eyes, Ren's treatment method is "deceiving ghosts", while in Ren's eyes, Ting is a person who does not know how to adapt, and as a veterinarian, she can't manage her "furry child", so the two of them have a rift. Due to an accident, Ren can actually communicate with the "furry child" Dongshai in human language. Dongshai will ask Ren for help whenever he encounters difficulties, and when Ren is treating patients, Dongshai will help Ren communicate with animals, and the man and the dog gradually develop a sincere friendship. Through Dongshai, Ren begins to understand that the strong Ting has a fragile heart. At this time, Ting's father Jin Qingsong (played by David Chiang) suddenly returned to Hong Kong. Song knew that Ting could no longer break through the love barrier because of her emotional injury, so he decided to help his daughter choose between Ren and other suitors. Dongshuai is both happy and confused when his good friend Ren has the chance to become his new master. He tries his best to help, but ends up getting Ren into trouble with the law... How does Dongshuai help Ren? Can the magical communication skills between Ren and Dongshuai turn the tide? Or is it the sincerity of human beings that is the panacea to resolve the crisis?
