"The Face" is based on the true story of the legendary French detective Vito in the 18th century. The filming cost more than 150 million francs and won five awards at the Spanish Film Festival. French detective Vito (Gérard Depardieu) suddenly disappeared and was rumored to have been killed by a demon wearing a mirror mask. It is rumored that the mirror mask has the strange power to absorb human souls, involving many mysterious murders in Paris, which suddenly caused a panic. Young journalist Bo Alan (Guillaume Canet) then began to investigate, and together with detective Vito's partner Nema and a mysterious woman, they interviewed many witnesses one by one. However, many "electric shock murders" occurred during this period. Many nobles were killed by strange lightning, and the witnesses who had been interviewed were also killed by people. Bo Alan also found out that this was related to the sudden disappearance of a large number of virgins in the city, which made the plot more climax. Every clue can change the development of the story, but the key lies in Vito himself in the end...
