Memories are the daily dinners, drugs and sex, and concerts are the rulers used to calculate time in memories. The light story, occasional small conflicts, and light and interesting boudoir humor are interspersed, delicate and interesting. The biggest selling point of this movie is that there are a lot of pornographic scenes in it, and the actors are exposed beyond people's imagination. Some viewers who have seen this movie said that this is the most pornographic movie they have ever seen. It is said that this is the first movie in the world where actors have sex in public during filming (to be precise, it should be "Anna's Passion" released in 2005). The sex scenes that the audience saw are actually real. But for some reason, the relevant British authorities finally approved the film to be released without any deletions. Behind the scenes: The premiere of "Nine Songs", adapted from the novel "Platform", was scheduled at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. The sensation caused by the premiere was as shocking as the bold sexual intercourse, oral sex, and masturbation plots presented in the film. When talking about the explicit scenes in the film, director Michael Winterbottom disagreed and expressed his attitude with a metaphor: If you want to make a movie about a long-distance runner, I believe the audience also wants to see him running. In "The 9th Song of Passion" directed by Michael Winterbottom, rock music becomes the main line (just like his previous work "24 Hour Party People"), and under the emotional history constituted by rock music is the sexual history of the two protagonists. When the male protagonist flies over the cold and lonely ice field, these two passionate histories unfold in memories, and finally the music fades away, and things have changed. The emotional relationship between the two people in the film is almost entirely composed of sex scenes. This makes many comments and media directly link this movie with pornographic movies. But in "The 9th Song of Passion", the sex scenes constitute a complete history, and at the same time, its presentation does not attempt to tease the audience's physiological instincts, but uses a cold temperament to try to communicate and exchange with the audience's soul. And this kind of communication and exchange is as powerless as the communication and exchange between the two protagonists in the film. Director Winterbottom is not unfamiliar to audiences who have known British films in recent years. In 2003, Winterbottom's feature debut film "The World Between" won the highest award of the Berlin Film Festival, the Golden Bear Award, with its profound insight into the miserable lives of Afghan refugees. In this film, which was played entirely by non-professional actors, Winterbottom showed outstanding control, so that the actors' performances in the film were so realistic that they were indistinguishable from the real thing. The following "Code 46" showed the director's comprehensive talent in the field of science fiction films. "24 Hour Party People", shot as early as 2002, can be said to be a beneficial attempt to express the theme with the help of rock music, just like "Nine Songs". This film tells the legendary life of Tony Wilson, a famous British rock promoter. The real scenes of "Nine Songs" mean a test for the actors' physical and mental aspects. In the early stage of the casting process, some obstacles were encountered. After the recruitment advertisement was published, 95% of the applicants were men, which made Director Winterbottom quite annoyed. Fortunately, by chance, Winterbottom met Margot, a 21-year-old super-sexy fashion model. After reading the script, Margot readily agreed to the filming request and expressed her trust in the director. This was not an easy thing for Margot, who grew up in North Carolina, the heartland of Christianity. After the filming of the film was completed, Margot refused many related activities such as the premiere and tried her best not to have anything to do with the film. In her hometown, Margot's mother was still in the dark and always thought that her daughter's film was only fake sex scenes. Compared with the heroine's deliberate avoidance, the male lead Corian showed rare confidence and calmness. The 31-year-old actor who once appeared in Winterbottom's "24 Hour Party Crazy" declared: Those who say it is disgusting are lying, and I don't believe it if they say it is excessive. This attitude is exactly the same as the director Winterbottom's fierce words. To shoot such a film is to ask, what's wrong with the performance? Nine songs, nine scenes, all have incredible difficulties. It is undoubtedly very difficult for actors to show a real and unreserved performance in front of everyone. Before shooting each scene, the director requires rehearsal and warm-up, hoping that the actors can devote themselves to it wholeheartedly.
