The TV series "Crossing the Line" is set during the Anti-Japanese War. It tells the story of how Japan, in order to save the situation, formulated a "Tong Operation" plan to establish a "peaceful route" with the Kuomintang Chongqing government. In the play, Li Donglin plays the most powerful action agent Oi Kotaro of the fourth section of the Japanese Expeditionary Force Intelligence Department, but his real identity is Hou Tianliang, a hidden agent of the Chinese Communist Party.
