Netflix has picked up a half-hour series adapted from the YA comic novel "Heartstopper", with a total of 8 episodes. The original author Alice Oseman is responsible for the adaptation, and Euros Lyn, the director of "Torchwood", is the director. See-Saw Films, which created "State of the Union", is the production company. "Heartstopper" tells the story of Nick and Charlie, two British teenagers attending a boys' grammar school. Charlie is an openly gay, very sensitive, and always thinks too much; Nick is a sunny and soft-hearted rugby player. The two were arranged to sit together one day and quickly became friends.
