Seven-year-old Nora faces the fear of going to school for the first time. Her brother Abel, who seems to have adapted well to school, has to comfort his sister on the one hand and has his own problems on the other. When the bell rings, Nora has to introduce herself to her classmates in an unfamiliar environment. She also has to swim and walk on a balance beam. Finally, when the class is over, she accidentally discovers her brother's little secret. She wants to tell her father but is ordered to keep silent. School life is like a small society. The performance in class and the pressure from peers test the relationship between the brother and sister. Can Nora have her own sense of belonging on campus? The first feature film by Belgian emerging director Lola Wandell uses a handheld long lens and locks on the image of the same height as the child to closely follow Nora's first schooling. The campus environment sound and the children's playful sounds are layered, successfully spreading the protagonist's anxiety through the screen. The two young actors who play the brother and sister perform naturally, delicately and wonderfully. As the plot progresses, the change of a look alone is enough to break your heart.
