The Last of Us was developed by Naughty Dog for two years and released in June 2013. The game is set in the United States after a virus has ravaged the country, and the people infected by the virus have become terrible monsters. The protagonists of the game are a cold-hearted smuggler, Joel, and a brave and precocious 14-year-old girl, Ellie. In exchange for weapons, Joel agreed to send the little girl Ellie to a designated location, and thus began their long journey across the United States.
