Leverage is a modern Robin Hood story. The protagonist Nate Ford used to be an insurance investigator. He saved millions of dollars for his boss and was a loyal employee. But one day, he found that his boss would rather let his son die than honor the claim, and realized that he was incompatible with this hypocritical industry. After resigning, Nate Ford quit drinking and formed a small team with four other people with different abilities, vowing to protect those who were oppressed by society and power and did not get fair treatment. These four people are: Parker, a theft expert; Alex Hardison, an Internet and computer expert; Eliot Spencer, a strong man who can easily deal with a large group of enemies with his bare hands; Sophie Devereaux, a professional liar, whose deceptive performance skills are enough to win an Oscar.
