Cao Li (Qin Hailu), a proud young woman, wanted to explore the outside world and worked her way from Shenzhen to the glamorous metropolis of Shanghai. Cao Li, who left her hometown, tried to escape her failed marriage and business failure. However, she still lived at the bottom of society. She shared a simple house of less than two square meters with a middle-aged woman Xie Qin (Tang Qun), working hard every day to earn money. A fellow villager Gou Ge tricked Cao Li into selling tickets to Fuyang and tricked 28 aunts to take the bus back home. Although it was only 600 miles away from her hometown in Shanghai, she still didn't dare to set foot on the road home. This low-cost film "Six Hundred Miles to Fuyang", which was shot in just 18 days, uses a destined arrangement and a series of seemingly well-intentioned scams to tell a warm story of returning home in deception. This film was not only nominated for the Best Feature Film at the 48th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards in 2011, but also won the Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress awards at the 48th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. Director Deng Yongxing also won the Best Director award at the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival Asian Newcomer Award for this film, and the lead actress Qin Hailu won the Best Actress awards at both the 18th Beijing University Student Film Festival and the 13th Chinese Film Media Awards.
