In the near future, various vicious crimes are increasing. In order to cope with this situation, a new judicial system "preliminary trial" is promoted. This system allows defense lawyers and prosecutors to debate in court and get the trial results quickly within three days. At present, Reiji Miken (played by Takumi Saito), known as the "genius prosecutor", has shown his talents and won one after another, which is very similar to his mentor, the perfect prosecutor Karma Go (played by Ryo Ishibashi) who has never lost in 40 years. In contrast, the career of rookie lawyer Naruhodō Ryuichi (played by Hiroki Narimiya) is struggling.
