The gangster brother Bao (Tsui Hark) is violent, but he has a slow-tempered good-natured brother Xiong (Eric Tsang) who is always at his service. Xiong even has to take care of his girlfriend when she is taken away. Bao is about to go to jail for six months after committing a crime. Before serving his sentence, he asks Xiong to take good care of his old lover Ping (Li Dianlang) and his young lover Mimi (Loletta Lee). Xiong was given a head start by Ping as soon as he met her, and was involved in the dispute between her and the loan shark gang.
