This film is adapted from the best-selling book of the same name. When the Taiwanese youth Zhang Shuhao (played by Zhang Shuhao) graduated from his senior year, his brother died. Shuhao, who was in a period of confusion, accidentally discovered the cycling log left by his brother. This young man who did not ride a bike had the idea of riding the Yunnan-Tibet line to fulfill his brother's unfulfilled wish. After experiencing the departure of his girlfriend, he returned to Lijiang on his own initiative. On the way, Zhang Shuhao met Li Xiaochuan (played by Li Xiaochuan), a cyclist from Yunnan, and went to Lhasa together. On the fifth day, they came to Deqin, and Li Xiaochuan was frustrated because he had no chance to see the Thirteen Peaks of Meili in the clouds; on the sixth day, they lived in the Tibetans' homes in Yanjing, and Shuhao and the simple Tibetans said goodbye; on the seventh day, they struggled on the mountain road of Quzika, and Li Xiaochuan accidentally fell off the cliff and was seriously injured.
