The CW announced the development of a spin-off of "Walker", "Walker: Independence", which will be produced by Jared Padalecki, Anna Fricke and Seamus Fahey. The show is set in the late 1800s and tells the story of Abby Walker, a wealthy Bostonian whose husband was killed on the way to the West. In her quest for revenge, she met the gangster Hoyt Rawlins, and the two came to Independence together, a place full of people who want to get rid of the past and pursue their dreams, and the protagonists will bring reform to this place.
