Based on the pseudo-documentary film "What We Do in the Shadows", the FX comedy of the same name is scheduled to premiere on March 27th, US time. The first season of this 10-episode half-hour comedy is written and directed by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi of the original film, and starred by Kay van Novak, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou and Harvey Guillen. The plot of the movie tells the story of three vampires, Viago, Deacon and Vladislav, who live in Wellington, New Zealand. Although they are undead creatures, they still have to adapt to local customs and live a life similar to humans, such as finding ways to pay rent, do housework, hang out in nightclubs and deal with conflicts between roommates. In the drama version of "What We Do in the Shadows", Kay van Novak plays Nandor, the head of the vampire family, Matt Berry plays Lazslo, who is a silly and funny existence, Natasia Demetriou plays Nadja, a strong female vampire, and Harvey Guillen plays Nandor's assistant.
