Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton) used to be an insurance investigator and had recovered millions of dollars in losses for his boss. He was a loyal employee. But one day, he found that his boss would rather let his son die than honor the claim, and realized that he was incompatible with this hypocritical industry. After resigning, Nate quit drinking and formed a small team with four people with different abilities, including theft expert Parker (Beth Riesgraf), Internet expert Alex (Aldis Hodge), super strong man Eliot (Christian Kane), and professional liar Sophie (Gina Bellman), vowing to protect those who are oppressed by society and power and do not get fair treatment.
