Syfy has directly booked 13 episodes of the new drama "Blood Drive", in which Alan Ritchson plays the leading role; John Hlavin is the producer, David Straiton will be the director, and James Roland will be the screenwriter. The story will revolve around Arthur Bailey (played by Alan Ritchson), the last (former) good policeman in Los Angeles, which is close to the end of the world. The play tells the story of him joining a private security company and having a vicious companion around him. Arthur himself feels sorry for the behavior of his peers who encourage violence and hopes to help this drought-stricken, earthquake-ravaged, dystopian place. But when conducting an investigation, he is forced to join a brutal cross-border death race "Blood Drive".
