On a cold night of the winter solstice, three children who were supposed to have no contact at all, Gong Yilan (played by Ruan Zhaoxiang), Gong Zelan (played by Wang Zulan) and Cui Wei (played by Li Sijie), met in a dilapidated house. The three hit it off immediately and made a wish: Yilan hoped to become "good at fighting", Zelan hoped to be able to walk through walls, and Cui Wei hoped that all women would tell him the truth.
