Description:Upon receiving the news of her father's (Taibao) death, daughter Amei (Wang Liwen) returned to her hometown from Taipei and took care of her father's funeral with her brother. Crying under the strict command of the master, nagging women origami lotus flowers, canned food towers baked by the sun... Amei was often amused by the absurd funeral customs in the countryside and the strange connections between the villagers. The past scenes with her father came to her mind. The two had been alienated since adulthood, but they slowly got closer in memories. The tedious and lengthy funeral with more laughter than tears was finally handled, and Amei returned to the busy life in the city alone.
